Ryan McGowan Re-Signs with Hearts
Former Defender Returns to Tynecastle

Ryan McGowan has re-signed for Hearts, returning to the club where he enjoyed a successful spell from 2013 to 2015. The experienced defender has been without a club since leaving Kuwait SC in January, but he has now agreed a short-term deal with Hearts until the end of the season.
McGowan made over 50 appearances for Hearts during his first spell at the club, and he played a key role in their Scottish Cup triumph in 2015. He also helped Hearts reach the League Cup final in 2014.
The 33-year-old has been training with Hearts for the past few weeks, and he has impressed manager Robbie Neilson with his fitness and attitude. Neilson is confident that McGowan can make a positive contribution to the team in the remaining games of the season.
"I'm delighted to welcome Ryan back to Hearts," said Neilson. "He's a great character, and he knows the club well. He's also a very experienced player, and he'll be a valuable addition to our squad."
